PSS® Metal Filters MBS1001S050H5

This 10 inch, double-open-ended S Series PSS cartridge uses a seamless, sintered 316L stainless medium for uniform retention and low resistance to flow. The S050 grade provides absolute 5 micron retention with very high efficiency, making it a strong choice for final clarification of liquids and gases. The fixed-pore structure resists media migration and particle unloading under cycling, and the metal matrix is repeatedly cleanable to extend service life between changeouts. Standard stainless designs withstand a minimum collapse differential pressure of 50 psid in either flow direction to 600° F. Use S050 in standard 2.375 inch diameter housings to protect catalysts, dryers, and sensitive instrumentation where low pressure drop, durability, and quick clean-in-place turnaround are important.
