PSS® Metal Filters C23194S050

Built for repeatable clarity and quick cleaning, this S Series PSS cylinder element uses a seamless, sinter-bonded 316L stainless medium with a fixed-pore structure. The S050 grade targets absolute retention at 5 microns with very high efficiency, while the high-void matrix keeps pressure drop low at recommended flow density. Cylinder elements are closed on one end with a threaded connector, making them easy to install in compact housings. The metal medium resists media migration and particle unloading, tolerates aggressive fluids, and can be steam- or chemically-cleaned for long service life. Standard stainless designs withstand a minimum collapse differential pressure of 50 psid in either flow direction to 600° F, with designs for higher temperature available when specified. Use S050 when fine particulate control, low resistance to flow, and clean-in-place economy matter in gases, solvents, heat-transfer fluids, and chemical intermediates.
