Seitz K 800 is a coarse clarification sheet designed for streams with elevated solids or higher viscosity. The open, homogeneous matrix promotes depth loading with a gradual pressure rise, which helps maintain flow and extend time between planned changeouts. K 800 is often used on syrups, extracts, edible oils, and as an upstream stage before tighter grades or final filters. The sheet can be hot-water or steam-treated within published limits, and a simple pre-rinse is recommended for clean start-up. Manufacturing controls deliver consistent permeability and media uniformity, supporting reproducible clarity across lots and campaigns.
