This AB1P057J PSS Series element uses a sintered 316L stainless-steel medium with a fixed, seamless pore structure for reliable solids control at 5 µm (100% removal). The AB sanitary-style format is closed on one end with an O-ring piston seal on the other, simplifying change-outs and helping ensure a positive, leak-tight fit. The high-void-volume matrix drives low clean pressure drop and high dirt capacity, while the all-metal media resists migration and unloading under cycling. EPDM sealing supports a wide chemical range and steam compatibility. Cleanability‚Äîby backflushing or chemical soak‚Äîreduces total cost in gas, steam, and liquid applications where consistency and long service life matter. Typical uses include polishing of process gases, solvent and heat-transfer loops, steam conditioning, and fine clarification steps ahead of sensitive equipment.
