Schumalith® Ceramic Filters & Modules 89452006

Schumalith 89452006 is a candle-style silicon-carbide ceramic element designed for sustained performance in high-temperature and cycling conditions. Its ceramically bonded structure offers high mechanical strength and excellent thermal shock resistance, making it suitable for hot gas filtration, exhaust analysis, and elevated-temperature liquid particle removal. Chemically, the medium is resistant to most acids, saline solutions, and organic solvents, with recommended use up to pH 10 on the alkaline side and no resistance to hydrofluoric acid. In service, the controlled porosity and homogeneous structure help maintain stable flow and predictable differential pressure behavior over time.
