This Aerolith AE 10 porous ceramic cylinder is built from sintered silicate granules to provide robust depth filtration with a long flow path and high internal surface area. The 70-mm outer diameter, 40-mm inner diameter, and 1000-mm length deliver ample area for particle storage while maintaining a low rise in differential pressure. The material is resistant to most acids, saline solutions, and organic solvents and is suitable up to 500 degrees C under compatible conditions. Its homogeneous structure supports dependable separation in liquid or gas service, from polishing process gases to clarifying industrial liquids. The element is machinable, allowing for customization, and can be installed using various fixing options for straightforward integration into existing systems.
