The PFD12AR protects vented systems by drying and filtering incoming air before it reaches the fluid. A 1-micron particulate stage helps intercept fine dust, while desiccant controls humidity to slow oxidation and varnish formation. The integrated isolation valve system routes only incoming air through the media and blocks reverse flow. This reduces the risk of oil vapor reaching the desiccant and supports longer, more predictable service life. Visual checks are straightforward through the sight-window, and the spin-on canister makes element changes fast. The assembly is intended for vertical mounting and is recommended for flows up to 7 SCFM. Use the life estimation chart to account for relative humidity and the amount of air breathed per cycle. With a temperature range of -65 F to 180 F, it fits hydraulic reservoirs, fuel tanks, and lube systems where cleaner, drier air is a priority.
