Air Breathers PFD12

The PFD12 is a reservoir vent-filter dryer designed to keep water and airborne solids out of vented fluid systems. Inside the spin-on canister, desiccant and a particulate stage provide 1-micron solid removal in air while drying incoming flow. An integral isolation valve system directs only incoming air through the dryer and prevents reverse flow, which helps avoid desiccant poisoning by oil vapor and extends service life. A clear sight-window makes condition checks fast, and the vertical mounting design simplifies installation on tanks and power units. Use the performance guidance to estimate life based on humidity and breathing volume, and size to the recommended maximum of 7 SCFM. Typical service includes hydraulic reservoirs, fuel tanks, and lube oil systems where cleaner, drier make-up air protects fluid health and reduces operating costs. The assembly operates across a broad temperature range from -65 F to 180 F when properly installed and maintained.
