For rugged guard filtration and bulk solids control, the XLD7040UFM7 provides 70 µm retention in a long, 40-inch format to extend run length. Its pleated depth design delivers high surface area for a low clean pressure drop, supporting high flow in utility and process streams. Gel-guard construction helps stabilize performance when feeds include soft agglomerates or gels. All polypropylene materials support clean processing. The single open end (SOE) fin end with external 226 O-rings uses FEP encapsulated fluorocarbon elastomer for broad chemical range and reliable sealing. Apply this element ahead of finer stages, pumps, and heat exchangers to reduce fouling and protect downstream assets in beverage, plant water, and light chemical service.
