PSS® Plus Series Metal Elements

The MBS1001PAHJ7 combines PSS Plus porous-metal media with EPR for steam service (J7) O-rings for dependable sealing through repeated steaming. Its 316L stainless-steel, sintered construction yields a more uniform pore structure that tightens permeability and supports efficient capture. The AH rating provides 10 µm liquid and 1 µm gas capability, recommended for clean-steam service and suitable for solvents, heat-transfer fluids, and high-temperature gases used in beverage processing. The 10-inch element offers 0.05 m2 of area and a low clean pressure drop, and it is rated to 75 psid at 200 F in forward and reverse directions.
