The Pallsorb HC7500SWT8H filter element is engineered to remove free and emulsified water contamination from hydraulic oils, fuels, and lubricants. Water is a common contaminant that leads to fluid breakdown, corrosion, and accelerated metal fatigue. This 8-inch element, designed for Pall 7500 series spin-on housings, provides a high water retention capacity of 170 mL while maintaining structural integrity with a 100 psid (7 bar) collapse pressure rating. For optimal performance, it is recommended for use in system return lines or "kidney" loop circuits on the reservoir, ideally downstream of a particulate filter to extend its service life. This element features Buna-N seals for compatibility with petroleum-based oils.
