Description

Seitz K 200 is a clarification grade used when feeds show variable turbidity and a moderate solids load. The sheet's cellulose-mineral matrix increases dirt capacity versus lighter polishing grades, combining depth adsorption and surface capture to hold more contaminant at a controlled pressure rise. It is commonly applied to juice and wine clarification, extract cleanup, and upstream conditioning for final filters. K Series manufacturing emphasizes homogeneity and permeability control for consistent, lot-to-lot behavior. Sheets may be hot-water or steam-sanitized within standard limits and are typically rinsed before service for clean start-up. The 400 x 400 mm format fits small presses for pilot-scale and craft operations and can be staged with coarser or finer grades to balance throughput and clarity.
