The SUPRAdisc AKS FB 7008711 offers high-capacity carbon treatment in a large, 16-inch (410 mm) enclosed module. It utilizes a carbon-impregnated cellulose media that eliminates the drawbacks of handling bulk powdered activated carbon (PAC), such as dust and extensive cleaning. The high adsorption efficiency of the immobilized carbon can reduce overall process time and increase product yield. A protective downstream paper layer is integrated to prevent carbon fines from contaminating the filtrate. This version features a flat gasket adapter and EPDM seals and is ideal for large-batch applications like decolorizing sugar syrups, correcting flavors in distilled spirits, or dechlorinating water.
