Parker DP/DP Max Extended Surface Pleated Filter

The Parker DP/DP Max Extended Surface Pleated Filter are MERV 8 and MERV-A 8-A rated filtration systems available in both standard and high-capacity configurations. These filters feature low initial resistance values of 0.21 inches water gauge for standard capacity and 0.19 inches water gauge for high capacity models, contributing to energy efficiency. The product line is engineered for extremely high dust-loading capacity and manufactured with consistent production quality.

The filters utilize 100% thermally bonded synthetic proprietary media that resists moisture and damage. This media achieves its MERV 8 rating through mechanical efficiency both before and after conditioning steps, and provides low pressure drop characteristics while maintaining high dust holding capacity. Construction consists of a heavy-duty moisture resistant beverage board frame with double-wall thickness around the outer edge and a die-cut pattern providing 50% more contact points between the media pack and frame for structural integrity.

Additional construction features include integral die-cut cross members for strength and rigidity, with 4-inch models incorporating die-cut finger separators to stabilize each pleat. The filters employ water repellent adhesive to bond the frame with the media pack, and include a rust-resistant expanded metal support grid made of galvanized steel. The pleat tips of the media pack are bonded to diagonal support members for enhanced stability.
