Filtration Systems Inc. was founded in 1980 by Richard Bayerlein, P.E.  with his son Doug Bayerlein, BSME Southern Methodist University.

From the beginning, Richard and Doug worked together using their engineering background , expertise, and innovation to create a world-leading filtration manufacturing company.
